Awoke to the sunshine falling across my Hubby's face. He was awake and ready to leave our bed. It is Sunday, one of three days of the week I do not have a scheduled appointment. Three days I transport Erica to her sister's home. Tuesday morning is a 10:00 Stretch Lab session. It is a morning I can turn over and return to sleep. Surrounded by the warmth of the blanket is so simple to just slip back into a deep sleep. It somehow feels like such an indulgence. To be warm, comfortably surrounded by the softness of the mattress and pillow. By turning away from the large window I can turn my back to the world for just a bit longer. In sleep, I escape the obligations of life. The war does not demand my concern. Tension seeps out of my body. Three hours pass in the amazing condition we humans call sleep.
